Over time, natural changes in your gums and bone can affect how your dentures fit. All dentures require regular maintenance and care. Relines and rebases adjust the internal surface of the denture to improve contact and comfort. Your denturist will access your dentures on a regular basis to confirm when relines are required. We generally recommend relines 1 year following extractions and 2-3 years with standard dentures.

Soft liners may be recommended for patients with sensitive tissue or those adjusting to new dentures.
